Appointment scheduling
Establishing yourself as a client:
Let me start by saying that I appreciate the urgency you may have with your desire to begin treatment. This is why I’ve provided a summary of the initial steps below. I assure you that your concerns and presenting problem will be the focus of our time together - as opposed to paperwork!
Schedule and attend a free 15-minute phone consultation with me. Here we will either confirm the establishment of client-therapist relationship or discuss alternatives. If the consult results in agreement to proceed, we will schedule your initial session (Intake).
During the Intake, we will spend a brief period discussing the legalese as it applies to the client-psychologist relationship. This appointment is roughly 15-minutes longer than standard therapy appointments to allow time for explanation, questions and answers.
All future appointments are typically 45 minutes in length and scheduled once per week. This is standard practice. However, there may be times this is not appropriate for the client, and alternatives will be discussed.
Payment Options
Tip: Contact your insurance provider to check your mental health benefits. Often times, you will see a number on the front or back of your insurance card that is specifically for mental health benefits. If you do not see one, call the number listed on your card for health benefits.
Some considerations: deductible? copay? out-of-network benefits? yearly coverage? is a referral required?

Fee for Service:
Initial Session (Intake) 60 minutes: $225
Sessions 45 minutes: $200
Case Consultation 15 minutes: $35
Methods of Payment:
Cash, Debit and Credit Cards accepted.
If you are paying out-of-pocket for services, you may request a monthly invoice to submit for reimbursement from your insurance carrier, health reimbursement or flex-spending accounts.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made one week prior to the appointment date and time will not incur a fee.
Session fee will be charged accordingly if client is late or absent from scheduled appointment and has not notified provider of cancellation within five business days of appointment ($200).
